From the moment that Yvette determined to things God’s way, He began changing the direction of her and Gerald’s lives. God has blessed them with the ability to be totally transparent about their journey and He has anointed them with a Spirit filled ministry of deliverance, restoration and discernment that empowers them to help others facing the same demons that they have faced and have triumphed over.
She and her husband Gerald have recently moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area to begin their business as Educational Consultants and their Marriage Ministry. Gerald & Yvette have been married for over 20 years, with a blended family of 5 children. God has called them to a unique team ministry using their personal testimonies of deliverance from addictions, separation, and financial struggles. Their transparency allows them to counsel and teach others that through patience and prayer, God can and will heal relationships. Their weekday online broadcast, “Bent but Not Broken” is used to share the journey they went through to understand that marriage works, if you work it! They are also gifted in imparting and stirring the gifts of the spirit through prophetic and apostolic teaching.
Yvette is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work. She began her career as an Academic Advisor at both State College of Florida and the University of South Florida (USF) where she assisted students in pursuing their dreams through higher education and training. She earned a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida and worked as a Guidance Counselor for Manatee County Schools for 18 years.
Gerald has been a Teacher, Coach and Certified Personal Trainer for over 20 years. He has a strong desire to see people reach their full potential through mentoring and developing positive relationships. A graduate of Emporia State University in Emporia, KS with a Bachelors degree. He is also trained as a Campus Athletic Chaplain through Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and is a graduate of the Discipleship Training Institute in Tampa Florida. Through transparency about his personal journey of deliverance, he ministers along with his wife, Yvette to help bring strength and reconciliation to marriages. His passion is combining character development with the word of God to create strong men which ultimately builds strong communities and families. Gerald and Yvette have been married for over 17 years and have a blended family of 5 children.
